"Hack" in this case is synonymous with "tip," and here are 13 lucky book hacks -- courtesy of Lifehacker -- for those of you, like me, who need a little bit of help managing your personal libraries.

For everyone who sent get well wishes regarding my flu: Thanks! I'm all better now. Still frantically working to finish BQ.

Cheri:

I just wanted to inquire about a title I recently found on a search under your name, yet I cannot find any info regarding it any
where. The title is listed as the 4th book in the series "The Diaries of the Family Dracul", which by the way is one of my favorite vampire novel series, called "The Vampire's God". I have always hoped that you would continue the saga and would like to know where I can find this title. Any iformation you can provide would be be sooo very appreciated.

Hi, Cheri,

There are only three books in the DRACUL trilogy. I never planned a fourth book for the series. (The three books are COVENANT W/THE VAMPIRE, CHILDREN OF THE VAMPIRE, and LORD OF THE VAMPIRES.)

My original title for LORD, book #3, was THE VAMPIRE'S GOD. However, the editor and others liked the X of the VAMPIRE-type title, to match the other two books, so I changed the title.

PR pieces on books -- often written months before the book is finished, or in the case of a trilogy like mine, a couple of years -- will sometimes make mention of titles which are later changed.

Right now I just want to write historicals. But I adored writing the DRACUL trilogy, so perhaps someday...
